Galaxy S5 and LG G3 getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon

There will be two major cell phone makers that hadn't yet announced Lollipop update plans for their flagships, but today We're completing the update confirmation cycle which has a semi-official promise, and also a rumor. First HTC, then Motorola and Sony chipped in of their update plans, and in fact now Samsung and also LG are joining the fray.

Galaxy S5 and LG G3 getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update soon

LG has chimed in from Europe, promising its Dutch and Belgian G3 customers, that an Android 5. 0 Lollipop update must be hitting their handsets just before the year has rolled out. That is pretty ambitious, though it probably means the update would arrive shortly before Christmas, mentioned in a previous possible spot coming from the self-inflicted timeframe.

As for the favored Galaxy S5 by Samsung, the initial hope for any November-bound Lollipop is now firmly moved to December, tipped sources, as could possibly be largely expected. Samsung already teased an Android 5. 0 update for that Note 4, so things are hopefully moving fast in which direction. HTC promised it in 90 days following the source code release, so it could hit the One M8 just before the year has transpired, too, while Sony has left it for early next year. Altogether, any flagship update released within three months could be considered good results, given how Android releases have gone thus far, yet in relation to carrier versions, we doubt things would happen this fast.
